Was founded in 1986 by Trina & Lynn Swinehart.The first location was located at 365 E. Main St. in Waterloo, NYin the little building behind the former Tastee Freeze. With 1 tow truck and a Ryder Truck Rental franchise, we started branching out as a Service Provider for the major auto clubs as well as providing service for the local Police Dept., the NYS Police and the Seneca County Sheriff. In 1993, Trina and Lynn purchased the property which used to be home to the Buy Wright gas station 1116 Waterloo-Geneva Rd (5&20W.). A security impound fence was erected establishing the first Impound Lot for police agencies in the Waterloo area. In the fall of 1994 a new facility was built at the same location consisting of a 2 bay repair shop and a retail store. In February of 1995, Hart Towing & Service relocated to it's new home. The original Impound area still exists and is now watched over by ADT security camera's 24 hours per day. The Budget Truck Rental franchise purchased The Ryder Truck Rental consumer division and we are now the local Budget Truck Rental Moving Services for the area. We have also added on the Kerosene Heater Service, supplying wicks and parts for most major portable kerosene heaters and salamanders. We are a used auto dealership, however we mostly specialize in this as a broker. You tell us what you're looking for and we'll do our best to find it at a reasonable price. We have a fleet of 2 recovery units which consist of a wheel lift for "damage free towing", extendable booms with dual winches for winching and recovery. These two units are also equipped for lock outs of vehicles, tire changes and battery boosts. The fleet also consists of 2 flatbed units. One is a 19' aluminum bed, the other a 21' aluminum bed. With these two units we can transport 4x4, "all wheel drive" or the classic "pride and joy" vehicles safely. Our truck operators are all firemen and highly trained in their fields. We've all had vehicle extrication training as well as fire fighter training therefore you, as a vehicle operator are our concern as well, not just your vehicle. There isn't much that we can't do.
